Libraries

All libraries are closed on bank holidays. Check your local library for renewals and other services.

Customer Service Centre (CSC)

For general enquiries including highways, children's and adults' social care, Family Information Service (FIS), Blue Badge parking scheme for disabled people, bus passes, street lighting, to book an appointment to register a birth, death, notice of marriage or arrange a ceremony, we will be closed and will not be answering emails.

Our telephone lines are normally open from 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and closed bank holidays.

Our normal services are closed on bank holidays but we do have a telephone line for emergencies only - 01865 897800.

Recycling centres

Our recycling centres are open 8am to 5pm throughout the year, but are closed over the festive period:

  • Christmas Day
  • Boxing Day
  • New Years Day

Sites close early at 3pm on:

  • Christmas Eve
  • New Years Eve

Oxfordshire History Centre

The History Centre is closed for Christmas at 4.30pm on Wednesday 24 December and will reopen at 9.30am on Saturday 3 January.
