Voting and elections

Following the county council election on 4 May, no single political group had a majority (ie more than half) of the elected councillors. The Conservative group have been joined by two independent councillors to form a Conservative Independent Alliance.

REMINDER: Candidates spending returns

Candidates’ spending returns relating to the County Council Elections on 4 May should be submitted to the County Returning Officer no later than Friday 9 June. These can be delivered to:
