Terms and conditions

Declaration by applicant

  1. I hereby declare that my normal place of abode is at the address I have entered on this form and intend to be there for at least 6 weeks. I wish to apply for a Resident’s Permit in respect of the vehicle specified in this application and/or I wish to apply for Visitors’ Permits and certify that I have not exceeded the 50-day annual allowance.
  2. I shall only allow my Visitors’ Permits to be used for parking a vehicle which belongs to (or is on hire or lease to) me or a member of my household at my given address or a visitor to my household at my given address and where that visit is the primary purpose for parking the vehicle. I understand that any abuse of the permit system (as set out in the parking Order including the sale or attempted sale of the permits) may result in Oxfordshire County Council withdrawing the permits and I may be disqualified from applying for any further Visitors’ Permits for a period of up to six months or such different time period as prescribed by the Order as varied from time to time.
  3. I understand that any permit issued to me by Oxfordshire County Council is for the vehicle and address entered on this form and that such issue and any subsequent issue of a permit is conditional on my surrendering to Oxfordshire County Council the said permit in the event of any of the following:
    • My ceasing to be a resident of the address specified.
    • My ceasing to own the vehicle specified.
    • Upon the issue to me of a duplicate permit.
  4. I undertake to inform Oxfordshire County Council immediately if any one of the events specified in paragraph 3 has occurred.
  5. I declare that all the information I have given in this application is correct and understand that a false statement may render me liable for prosecution. I understand that Oxfordshire County Council reserves the right to check other council databases in order to confirm eligibility.
  6. I understand that postal applications are made on the basis of the applicants taking full risk for any documents posted, that original documents must accompany all applications which will be returned by standard Royal Mail post and that Oxfordshire County Council does not accept any liability for documents lost as a result of using the postal service.
