If you are using a van or trailer to dispose of your waste you will need to apply for a free e-permit. If you are using a car you do not need to apply for a permit.

The waste recycling centres accept a wide range of household recyclables and waste for no charge, except tyres and DIY waste:

Please bring cash with you as cheques or cards are not accepted.

Best times to visit

We recommend trying to plan your visit around quiet times at the recycling centres if possible - weekdays between 8am -10am and 3pm -5pm are less busy than weekends and the middle of the day.
