Museum Resource Centre Open Day

As part of Heritage Open Days and Open Doors we are holding an Open Day.

Come and see what the Museum Service does with the objects from the collection that there is not room to display. The day will run between 10am and 1pm with a handling session available throughout the day. You can also book on a tour and on our talk about the Archaeology collection. Everything is free but you are welcome to book your place and reserve your spot or simply drop in.

Museum Tours: A 30 minute guided tour of the Oxfordshire Museums collection held in storage at the Museum Resource Centre.

Talk - Archaeology in the Museum Collection: Join curator Angie Bolton to discover rich pickings in the Oxfordshire Museum archaeology collection from the Palaeolithic to the Medieval.

Tours are on the hour every hour between 10am and 12pm and the talk is at 10am and 11.30am.
