Gelli Plate Printing

A printed pattern in green orange and black inspired by nature.

About the Workshop

Learn the tips and tricks of successful gelli plate printing. Over the course of this one-day workshop we will explore a number of techniques to create terrific prints using this fun and spontaneous method. We will work with stencils and masks to create texture, pattern and imagery using acrylic paint, watercolours, inks and even wax crayon and create a variety of original layered and mono prints which we will collage into a sculptural concertina book. We will also make a finished piece suitable for framing.

This course is suitable for complete beginners as well as those wishing to refresh or extend their printing skill.
