September update
We are finalising home-to-school travel arrangements for the new academic year.
If you have already given us all the information we asked for, do not contact us for an update. We are working through arrangements and will be in touch as soon as there is an update on your application.
Your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
If you have already provided all the information we asked for, there is no need to contact us. We will contact you as soon as your child's travel arrangements are confirmed or if we need more information.
Applications received by 30 June
If you submitted a travel information form by 30 June, we are treating these as are our priority.
Applications received after 30 June
Travel information forms received after 30 June will usually be processed after those received by the deadline.
We understand that some families could not submit a form by 30 June for various reasons. We cannot guarantee that travel arrangements will be ready for the start of term.
Applications may take up to 10 weeks from the time a completed form is received to the time travel support is arranged.
You should be prepared to make your own travel arrangements until support has been confirmed, if you are able to do so.
Interim support through a personal travel budget
In some cases, we may offer temporary support through a personal travel budget while long-term arrangements are being completed. We will contact you directly this is available.
If the offer does not meet your child's travel needs, or you would like us to review your circumstances, reply to the offer email with any relevant information.
Post-16 transport
Transport arrangements can only be confirmed after we receive and review a student's timetable. After receiving a timetable, arrangements may take up to 15 working days to be assessed and confirmed.
If you have not yet sent a timetable, please do so as soon as possible.
Send timetables to SupportedTravelTransport@Oxfordshire.gov.uk
If you have not completed an application form
If you have been told that your child is eligible for home to school travel assistance but you have not completed the online travel information form, do so as soon as possible.
We cannot begin arranging or confirming travel until we receive a completed form.
Your child does not have an Education, Health and Care Plan
If you have already provided all the information we asked for, there is no need to contact us. We will contact you as soon as your child's travel arrangements are confirmed or if we need more information.

If you received a transport acceptance form with your mainstream school offer response letter, the information below applies to you.
