Carterton Library: Caterpillars and Food Chains!

Oxford Brookes University are once again visiting Carterton Library.

Numbers of butterflies and moths have declined alarmingly. Caterpillars of moths and butterflies are an important part of the food chain in the habitats in which they live. A drop in the numbers of caterpillars affects the animals in the rest of the food chain, resulting in an overall decline in biodiversity. Come along and make some food chains with the Butterflies Under Pressure team!
