Bee talk as part of Big Green Week

As [part of Big Green Week, Paul Bolam, local bee keeper and member of the Oxfordshire Beekeepers Association, will give a talk/demonstration about honey bees and bee-keeping.

Topics that will be covered include:

  • The life history of honey bees
  • Why we keep bees
  • Products of the hives
  • Importance of bees in the environment/ecosystem.

The demonstration will include tasting of different type of local honey.

The event is free of charge so come along and learn about our beautiful bees.
