May is Local and Community History Month.  This year’s theme is Planes, Trains and Automobiles. 

Explore fascinating local history; including the inventor of the first car who lived in Bampton, the lost and forgotten airfields all around us, and how steam trains were part and parcel of regular life in and around Bampton.  Viewing in the Lewington room throughout May, during library open hours - please check before visiting.
