Printing with Nature

A table with a print in brown and white of a leaf pattern and a tube of paint on top. In the background is a folded print different leaves and twigs inspired by nature in browns and greens.

About the course

During this fun and hands-on print making workshop we will explore the addictive process of botanical printing. We will create transparent layers of colour and texture using stencils, masks and embossed patterns over which we will print with leaves, flowers, feathers and even sliced fruit and vegetables! We will use acrylic paint and oil pastels to create a number of original monoprints and patterns which we will collage into a sculptural concertina book.

This creative process is fun, addictive, and suitable for everyone, no experience or expensive materials are necessary.
