About the event

Danny George Wilson the well-known frontman of the band Danny and the Champions of the World will be performing live in the Oxfordshire Museum Garden this Summer.

They are a heartland rock and soul band formed in London during the summer of 2007 by Danny. They have since released seven studio albums and two live albums and performed many times in Oxfordshire at festivals such as Cornbury and Truck and this year sees them return to the county.

Their new album released in October last year, ‘You Are Not A Stranger Here,’ shows a band exploring new and surprising musical terrain. Produced by Champs keyboard player Thomas Collison and featuring Danny’s most compelling songs to date and he’ll be playing material from the latest record and his extensive back catalogue.

So why not come along to this hidden gem of a venue in the garden of the Oxfordshire Museum in Woodstock and experience some of Danny’s new songs for yourself in what will be their only Summer Oxfordshire appearance.

There will be a food truck and a bar. No food or drink is to be brought into the venue.
