This exhibition about the life and works of sculptor Michael Black opens on 15 March.

Michael Black, who carved the Emperors’ Heads outside the Sheldonian Theatre in Broad Street, lived and worked from Oxford throughout his career. As a talented sculptor he received notable public commissions, exhibited artwork at prestigious galleries, and restored the stonework of churches, colleges and other buildings across Oxford.
