The census is a survey that happens every 10 years and gives a picture of all the people and households in England and Wales. Oxfordshire County Council and partners use data from the Census to help plan services including transport, education, health, and social care.
The most recent Census, run by the Office for National Statistics, was carried out on 21 March 2021.
Results from the Census 2021 survey are expected from late spring 2022 and the full dataset is expected to be released by early 2023.
We will be publishing analysis and data for Oxfordshire from the Census 2021 survey on Oxfordshire Insight.
