What we do

We offer ensemble teaching for home-schooled children at the Centre for Music on Wednesdays.

Windband

Wednesdays - 1pm–2pm

This group has been learning since 2015. A new beginners' group is planned for September 2017.

Instruments played include flute, clarinet, saxophone, cornet, french horn and percussion.

Cost: £6.49 per week invoiced termly (10 weeks to a term /total 30 sessions over the academic year).

Stringbabies

Wednesday - 12.10am-1pm/1pm–1.50pm/1.50pm-2.30pm

The programme is designed to help 3 – 5 year olds learn to play the cello, viola or violin acquiring the best techniques straight away.  Children develop singing, rhythm and aural skills while having fun with others.

Cost: £6.49 per week invoiced termly (10 weeks to a term /total 30 sessions over the academic year)

Rockschool

Wednesdays - 2.15pm-3.15pm

A group for children aged 6 – 11 which takes place in our JamPod Academy room at the Centre for Music. Equipment provided.

Cost: £6.49 per week invoiced termly (10 weeks to a term /total 30 sessions over the academic year)
