The UK’s first digital JamPod is a new way to learn. Play electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboards or sing, using cutting-edge technology to enable composing, playing and recording in a silent studio environment.

What is available

Rockschools

Come and join a band, or bring some friends and form your own band. Compose, perform and record your own songs (or cover versions) with expert tuition in the high-tech setting of the JamPod Academy.

  • Junior Rockschool for musicians aged 9-13: Tuesdays, 5-6.30pm
  • Senior Rockschool for musicians aged 11-18: Mondays, 6.30-8pm or Tuesdays, 7.30-9pm.

Home-schooled bands

A rockschool and rock tuition class for pupils who are home-schooled, playing electric guitars, bass guitars, drums, keyboards and singing. Wednesdays 2.15-3.15pm

How much it costs

Rockschool

  • Pupils who are having tuition with the Music Service: £4.70 per session
  • Pupils who are not having tuition with the Music Service: £5.55 per session

Home-schooled rock bands

  • £5.99 per session

You do not have to pay if you get certain benefits. Please call the Music Service office to discuss this.
