Renewing a book that has been reserved

If a book has been reserved, a staff member can renew it for you for a further three days. You need to visit or telephone a library to do this.

How many times you can renew a book

You can renew books up to three times if no one else has reserved them. If you still require the book after that, you must bring it to the library to be re-issued. Audio-visual items cannot be renewed and may be subject to additional charges if returned after their due date.

Returning a book after the renewal date

Books returned late may be subject to overdue book charges. See library charges for full details.

How to get a library PIN

If you can't remember your PIN, you can reset it online

If you do not have a PIN or can’t reset it online, you will need to visit any Oxfordshire library, bringing your library card with you. We do not issue PINs by phone or email to maintain the security of your personal information.
