It's free to join a library.

After applying online to join the library, please visit any of our 44 libraries to complete your application and collect your library card. You will need to provide some personal identification such as a driver’s licence, passport, or bank card.

When you have submitted your application online, you will be signed in to your temporary account and can find your temporary library card number and other user details under “My Profile”.
