Monday to Sunday, 8 am to 5 pm.
When there are long waiting times to enter the centre, staff may assess the queue and close earlier than the advertised closing time.
Bank holidays
Normal opening hours except for Christmas and New Year.

Using a van or trailer
Some vehicles and trailer sizes require a permit to bring waste onto a site. Other vehicle types are not allowed to enter a waste and recycling centre at all. Check if you will need a free permit before you travel to a waste and recycling centre.
Non-household (DIY) waste
We accept small amounts of personal non-household DIY waste free of charge (your allowance). Learn about your free allowance and how to book a free allowance visit.
Commercial and trade waste
We cannot accept waste from commercial premises or businesses at Drayton. However, you can take trade waste to the Redbridge household waste recycling centre.
