How to get services

The Falls Prevention Service offers help and advice to help people avoid falls and regain confidence if they have fallen. 

The service covers the whole of Oxfordshire, and people are seen in clinics or their own homes.  

Clinics are currently being held at:

  • Chipping Norton Community Hospital
  • Orchard Health Centre, Banbury
  • Wallingford Community Hospital
  • Witney Community Hospital

How to avoid falls

Falls are not just the result of ageing - many can be prevented. By making some simple changes to your home, you can lower your chances of falling. The NHS website has information and guidance to help you prevent falls.

Equipment that can help you

We have a range of equipment that you can borrow to help you live at home. You can also get information and advice from our occupational therapists or contact details of suppliers who will sell you equipment privately.
