Whether you want small and intimate for immediate family, or a larger group of friends and family to celebrate with you, the Dexter Room can create that special moment in the heart of historic Oxford, before you take your photos on the iconic front steps of this beautiful building.

Celebrate with up to 23 guests (weekdays) or 48 guests (weekends) including babies and children.

Parking is available in public car parks close by and disabled access is good.

Oxford Register Office statutory room 

A basic and simple ceremony available for couples in a statutory office within the Oxford Register Office building with two witnesses only

Babies and children cannot be included in addition to the two witnesses.

Free Wi-Fi

We are pleased to be able to offer free Wi-Fi in the Dexter Room for use during ceremonies.

You can stream your ceremony live from your laptop. Involve distant family /friends in your ceremony via a webcam, and have easy access to the internet.

All equipment, including laptops, must be provided by the user.
