Abingdon ceremony room

The School House Room - the ceremony room at Abingdon Registration Office.

Inside Abingdon ceremony room

The School House Room is the tailor-made location for the smaller and more intimate wedding, with its ground floor room.

It is tastefully decorated in green and cream, and is situated overlooking a pretty garden square in the heart of this historic town.

Following government guidelines the maximum capacity for this room is six people. This includes the two registrars, the couple and two witnesses.

Capacity outside of the pandemic is 20 guests.

Occasional Saturdays* 9am, 10am, 11am, 12noon

Fee is £310, rising to £325 after 31 March 2021.  *If you would like a ceremony on a Saturday when we are not planning to open, you will have to pay at the higher rate detailed below.

Saturday 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm.

Fee is £585, rising to £600 after 31 March 2021.

Sundays and bank holidays

Sundays and bank holidays 9am, then on the hour until 5pm

Fee is £650, rising to £665 after 31 March 2021.
