Wear a seatbelt
Reduce the risk by wearing a seatbelt.

By law, you must wear a seatbelt.
- 10% of people admit they sometimes don't wear a seatbelt in the front
- 24% say they sometimes don't wear a seatbelt in the back

Always wear your seatbelt and make sure your passengers are wearing theirs, too.
It's your responsibility
As a car owner, you must ensure the seatbelts are fully operational. MOT checks include seatbelt inspections, keeping you and your passengers safe.
When driving with children under 14, you must ensure they are adequately secured. If necessary, use an approved car seat or booster seat.
Child seat law
The law requires that all children must use the correct child car seat until they are either 135 cm in height or 12 years old.

It's not worth the risk
