Classic ceremony 

The fee stated includes the Ceremony Registrar's attendance and use of the ceremony room. Marriage or civil partnership certificates can be purchased separately for £12.50 per certificate.

The classic ceremony allows couples to hold their ceremony on fixed days and at fixed times.

• With this package, couples can arrive at the Registration Office together or separately, for a ceremony which can last approximately 20 minutes 
   
• Couples choose their own declaratory words and contracting vows from a selection of three different legal options. They may also exchange rings with ring promises selected from eight different choices.
   
• The package offers your personal choice of recorded music if required and couples can be escorted down the aisle by a family member or friend if required.
   
• There is an opportunity for photographs
   
• The package does not include readings or additional personal vows or personalisation

Enhanced ceremony

The fee includes the Ceremony Registrar's attendance and use of the ceremony room. Marriage or civil partnership certificates can be purchased separately for £12.50 per certificate.

The enhanced ceremony offers flexibility on any day of the week with choices of times, vows, music and readings.

• Couples will have the opportunity to have a virtual/telephone meeting with the ceremony registrar, who will be conducting their ceremony, to discuss their ceremony requirements.
   
• Couples can arrive at the Registration Office together or separately for a ceremony that can last up to 30 minutes, depending on what they would like to include.
   
• Couples can choose their own declaratory words and contracting vows from a selection of legal options and can also exchange additional (and, if desired, personally written) vows and ring promises
   
• An enhanced ceremony allows couples to supply their own choice of non-religious music and the option of being formally presented (given away) by a family member or friend, should they wish.
   
• The ceremony includes up to three readings (which need to be approved before the ceremony) and provides the opportunity for photographs before, during and after the ceremony.
