We work with various stakeholders and groups to ensure that the local offer meets the needs of our users while also considering relevant legislation, including the Equality Act 2010 and the SEND Code of Practice 2015.

Our list of organisations and people we work with to develop and secure educational information on the local offer includes (but is not exhaustive): Children and Young People with SEND, Parents and families of Children and Young People with SEND, Governors of Schools, Academy Trusts Management committees of pupil referral units, and other providers of education (both independent and state).

Our list of organizations we work with to secure health information on the local offer include (but is not exhaustive to): NHS trust, local clinical commissioning groups, other local health boards including health and wellbeing.

Anyone looking to use or access a service is responsible for conducting their own checks to assess the suitability and fitness of that service. External bodies may register and inspect some providers, such as Ofsted or the Care Quality Commission. Organisations offering personal care will only be listed on this site if they have the required CQC registration number.

Anyone working with children, young people or vulnerable adults must have an appropriate Disclosure and Barring Service Check (the replacement for the Criminal Record Check), safeguarding policies and insurance in place, which they should make available to you on request.
