Precious: Jewellery and Silvermaking by members of JASSO, The Jewellery and Silver Society of Oxford.

This biennial exhibition showcases work by members of JASSO. From earrings and necklaces to hand raised vessels in silver, demonstrating techniques such as repousse, enamelling and stone setting, there is much to intrigue and delight. Displays showing the process of raising a vessel and designing for jewellery give insight into the highly skilled craftmanship needed to produce precious things.

Items will be for sale.

JASSO was formed in 1973 and members range from professional silversmiths to hobbyists. Currently there are 170 members. The base is a shared workshop in a converted barn near Abingdon. New members are welcome. For more information visit www.jasso.org.uk
