Who this service is for
The Vision Support Team helps people who are blind, partially sighted or finding it difficult to see.
You do not need to be registered as blind or partially sighted to ask for help.
How to contact us
You do not need a referral. You can contact us yourself.
A family member, friend, GP, eye specialist or other professional can also contact us for you.

How we can help
Our team includes specialist rehabilitation workers and support workers. We support people of all ages with any question about sight loss.
We can:
- assess what support you need
- help you move around your home safely
- help you travel outside your home safely
- teach you skills for everyday activities
- advise you about equipment that may help
- help you stay as independent as possible
- put you in touch with other organisations that support people with vision loss
