How to apply for visitor permits using online

Your permit account

The permit account is used for parking and congestion charge permits only. It does not give access to other council services, such as pensions, Blue Badge applications, school applications, or library accounts.

If you already have a permit account, you can log in to apply for a permit.

View and claim your permits

  • Log in to your parking account
  • Select View Parking Permits
  • Select My Permits to active

How to apply for visitor permits

1. Start your application

  • Log in to your parking account
  • Select View Parking Permits
  • Select Show Locations

2. Choose your permit area

  • Find your Controlled Parking Zone
  • Select View Permits
  • On Visitor Permits, select Select

3. Check the permit details

  • Choose any expiry reminders you want to receive
  • Read and accept the terms and conditions
  • Select Next

4. Complete the questionnaire

  • Upload your proof of residency
  • Answer the declaration
  • Select Next

5. Submit your application

  • Check your application details
  • Select Continue
  • Your application will be submitted

6. View your permits

  • Select My Permits.
  • Your visitor permits will show on the My Permits page
