Central permit area permit holders
The central permit area created for the temporary congestion charge does not exist in the traffic filters scheme.
We have transferred central permit area resident permits to Oxford permit area resident permits. This gives 100-day passes per permit.
We have not transferred the other expiring central permit area permits. These are:
- central permit area resident (visitor permit)
- central permit area workplace parking users
- central permit area sports clubs, nurseries, or military training

Traffic filter permits are 'virtual'. You will not receive a physical permit to display in your car. The traffic filter cameras will read your number plate and check for a linked permit.
