What we do

We offer support to young people aged 16-19 (and up to age 25 for those with learning difficulties) who are not in employment, education or training (NEET). 

We keep in regular contact with local young people to check they are in learning. We make sure they know about local education and employment opportunities.

This includes regular contact by:

• face-to-face support
• online information and guidance
• lists of work, apprenticeships, training
• other opportunities for young people

Our service tracks participation in education, employment and training for those aged 16-18. You can:

• Notify us if a young person 16+ leaves their learning destination early or becomes NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) 
• Find out more about how we help schools support pupils who are at risk of NEET
