Park and ride combined ticket

From 17 August 2026, a £3 combined ticket covers return bus travel into Oxford and back for up to five people of any age and up to 16 hours’ parking at Oxford’s park and ride sites.

The discounted combined parking and travel ticket must be purchased at the park and ride site or on the RingGo phone app and will be valid on any Stagecoach, Oxford Bus Company, or Thames Travel bus that stops within a park and ride site, not just named park and ride services.

This offer is funded by the income from Oxford’s temporary congestion charge.

How it works

• Park your car.  The combined ticket is available at Redbridge, Pear Tree, Seacourt, Thornhill, and Oxford Parkway park-and-ride sites. 
• Buy a £3 combined ticket from either a car park ticket machine or the RingGo phone app. Make sure you select the Parking & Bus option for £3. 
• Show the bus driver your parking ticket or an active RingGo session on your phone as you board. You won’t be issued a ticket. You just need to show the same thing on your way back. 
• Return travel is for up to five people of any age.
• Return travel is available for journeys to Oxford and other key destinations, such as John Radcliffe Hospital and Oxford Brookes University.

What’s not included

• The combined ticket is not valid on Oxford Bus Company’s Airline services or Stagecoach’s Oxford Tube. 
• The offer is not valid at Bicester park and ride.
• The combined ticket is not valid for journeys heading away from Oxford. You can’t, for example, use it for travel from Redbridge park and ride to Abingdon or from Oxford Parkway park and ride to Kidlington.

Good to know

• If you don't pay for parking (e.g., Blue Badge holders), the combined £3 parking and travel ticket will still be cheaper than a standard return park-and-ride bus fare.
• If you have a bus season ticket, you just need to pay £2.50 for parking (you can do this at the ticket machine or on the RingGo phone app – select parking only)
