Apply for a temporary congestion charge permit
Applications for new congestion charge permits are now closed. This is because the temporary congestion charge will be replaced by Oxford’s traffic filter trial on Monday 28 September. Apply for a traffic filter permit instead. We aim to process all permit applications within 10 working days.
Note that permits are 'virtual'. You will not receive a physical permit to display in your car. The cameras at the charging locations will read your number plate and check for a linked permit.
