Blackbird Leys Library will temporarily close from Monday 9 November -to Friday 4 December for essential building improvements. The library will reopen on Saturday 5 December.
To help minimise disruption, Littlemore Library will offer additional opening hours during the closure and will host some of the events. No books will be due back during the closure.

Getting here
Oxford Bus Company and Stagecoach run a regular bus service to Blackbird Leys (every 10-15 minutes from Oxford); the stop is a two minute walk from the library. There are also a half-hourly Oxford Bus Company bus routes (5A and 5B) that stop right outside the library.
There is a car park for the shops on Blackbird Leys Road opposite the library as well as various street parking in the surrounding area.
