How to renew your permit online
Your permit account
The permit account is used for parking and congestion charge permits only. It does not give access to other council services, such as pensions, Blue Badge applications, school applications, or library accounts.
If you already have a permit account, you can log in to renew your permit.
New accounts
Once you have created a new account, we can transfer your existing permits to your account for you to manage.
Please allow 2 to 3 business days for this process to be completed.
1. Start your renewal
- Log in to your account.
- Hover over your name and select My Permits.
- Hover over Actions.
- Select Renew.
2. Complete your application
- Upload proof of residency.
- Upload proof of registered keeper.
- Answer the declaration questions.
- Select Apply.
3. After you apply
- Your renewal application will be submitted.
- Select My Permits.
- Your permit status will change.
- Once approved, your status will change to Permit Renewal Pending Payment.
4. Pay for your renewal
- Hover over Actions on your residential permit.
- Select Make Renewal Payment.
- Complete the payment.
- Your permit will return to an Active status.
