Not everyone is able to foster full-time, but that doesn't mean you can't make a difference. Whether you can offer one weekend a month, support during school holidays or be there when a family needs extra help, there are different ways to support local children.
One weekend can change a child's world
For one Oxfordshire respite foster carer, offering one weekend a month has made a lasting difference to the children they support. From exploring woodland trails and flying kites to visiting new places, these regular visits give children the chance to try new things, build confidence and create happy memories that stay with them long after the weekend ends.
