Enterprise Oxfordshire, formerly Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP)

A new name and operating change for the former OxLEP

Enterprise Oxfordshire is the new trading name for the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP) Ltd.  The name changed on 1 April 2025, after two years of planning.

Before, groups known as Local Enterprise Partnerships carried out economic development functions. Now, Oxfordshire County Council is responsible for this work and acts as the organisation’s sole shareholder. This is referred to as a 'Teckal company arrangement', but Enterprise Oxfordshire operates like a normal limited company.

Enterprise Oxfordshire helps local businesses, supports skills and training, and encourages investment and trade. It also works on plans to make Oxfordshire’s economy strong, fair, and environmentally friendly.
