Activities for adult musicians

Music service activities for musicians aged over 18.

Adult music ensembles

Enjoy making music? We have ensembles for intermediate and advanced saxophonists, clarinettists, guitarists and flautists who are over the age of 18.

Our groups are of various size and standards and offer advice with technique and care of instruments. There are also opportunities to perform and links to specialist instrumental music organisations and societies.

Players meet weekly, 30 times a year on Thursdays from 7.30 to 9.30pm.

Other groups

We don't currently have a brass group, but if you play a brass instrument please get in touch and if there is enough interest we may try to arrange a group.

We are also hoping to start an Early Music group if numbers permit, to explore Medieval and Renaissance music on historically authentic instruments. We have some instruments available – basic knowledge of recorder fingering would be an advantage. Please contact us if you are interested.
