Oxfordshire County: Reading Together

18 December

Join a small group to share and discuss a short story read aloud.

This is a different kind of book group, based on the 'Get into Reading' model. Its  purpose is to bring together people who like the idea of hearing imaginative literature read aloud in a friendly environment.

We hope to have conversations around the story,  but the emphasis is on listening to the reading with pleasure and without pressure on anyone to engage with discussion.   The idea is simply to go with it and see where it takes us.  We end each session with a poem suggested by the story.

The group is led by Wendy Hill and Janet Hall.  Wendy is an experienced teacher of adults, and Janet has trained with the Reader Organisation.

For more information ring Wendy on (01865) 250725 or Janet on (01865) 244487. Or email: wendy72hill@gmail.com or janetmwhall@gmail.com
