Our line managers give us brilliant support - we have regular supervision to discuss our work and agree on ways to progress a case. They often suggest other services or approaches we should consider. During supervision we are encouraged to reflect on our case work and acknowledge cases that are challenging us - this is often a helpful way to rethink our perspective on a case and consider a situation in another light, which often leads to better outcomes for people.
Development and training is greatly promoted by Oxfordshire County Council and the supervision system afterwards is very supportive.
Inspired by my colleagues
I am inspired by my colleagues' commitment to the people we work with and to each other. I am proud of those who always do more than is required to ensure that people are safe and that they have had a good opportunity to express their wishes and views on their care.
