About string chamber music

The String Chamber Music sessions are open to string players who attend the Central Music School (Oxfordshire County Youth Orchestra and  Oxfordshire Senior Schools Orchestra). These players are divided into trios, quartets and quintets to develop their chamber music skills. This ensemble is coached by Oxfordshire County Music Service string staff.

How to join

Membership of Chamber Groups is usually by invitation only. Players mainly come from central activities and in some cases, you may be asked to audition.
