South Oxfordshire Youth Performing Arts

All pupils are encouraged to use their voices with a sense of enjoyment and expression.

Who can join

SOYPA is open to young people in year 7, 8, 9 and 10 with an interest in performing arts. We welcome all abilities and you don't need to be able to read music.

Singing is varied, covering a wide range of styles and part singing. Movement is for all abilities, developed through creative ideas as well as dance techniques. Pupils work on developing dramatic expression through improvisation.

How to join

Costs and membership

£69 per term.

Joining and enrolling To join, come to a session and speak to the centre leader. 

Many pupils from SOYPA go on to join Oxfordshire Youth Music Theatre.

Young singers

Pupils in years 3 - 6 can join the South Oxfordshire Young Singers who meet on Wednesday nights.
