Query a parking fine

How to contest a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) or Excess Charge notice (ECN).

There are two types of ticket: Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and Excess Charge Notice (ECN). If you want to contest a ticket, you will need to quote your PCN or ECN number, and the vehicle registration number as shown on the notice.

Please note that if you pay your fine in full, it is classed as closed and cannot be contested.

We are only responsible for on-street pay and display parking, bus lane enforcement, and resident permit bays in Oxford, Abingdon and Henley.

If your ticket was issued elsewhere in the county, please contact whoever issued it. Contact details will be on the back of your notice.
