About

Oxenford Yonge Minstrels explores the fascinating instrumental and vocal music of Medieval and Renaissance Europe, using period instruments. Come and try your hand at the viol, lute, crumhorn, cornett, sackbut, shawm, vielle, rebec, psaltery, symphony and nakers, as well as singing the occasional madrigal.

Who can join?

Oxenford Yonge Minstrels is open to all students of Grade 5 standard and above who are interested in early music. Please contact the group's director, Rhiannon Evans  rhiannon.evans@oxfordshire.gov.uk for more details.
