If you are unable to visit us we can offer a limited research service on specific local studies and family history topics.
How to make the most of the Oxfordshire Studies service:
Details of photographs, publications, documents and objects can be viewed online using Heritage Search - Oxfordshire County Council's database of heritage material.
From Oxfordshire Studies collections, Heritage Search includes:
- over 30,000 records of printed books, periodicals, microforms and electronic media
- over 60,000 images and records relating to 100,000 more
- records of 5,000 oral history recordings
- name indexes to Oxfordshire businesses and people, 1800-2006.
Oxfordshire County Council provides many local studies and family history resources outside Oxfordshire Studies.
