As well as supporting people with high levels of needs, we aim to:
promote independence and enable people to live supported in their own homes where possible
increase opportunities for choice
work with partner organisations to promote health and wellbeing.
We work in partnership with the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, the Berkshire Healthcare NHS Trust and Primary Care Trusts to provide the best service to people with mental health needs. We also work with a range of voluntary organisations.
All GP surgeries have access to psychology or counselling services. These services are provided by counsellors and clinical psychologists employed by Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust.
Adult placement means taking into your own home someone who is unable to live without support and may require some practical and emotional help. This section also includes information how to become a provider of care.
Day centres provide a range of services for people who need support because of physical, emotional or mental health disability.
