The Regional Spatial Strategy which sets out a vision for the South East.
The South East Plan is the Regional Spatial Strategy for the South East which guides regional planning in South East England up to 2026. The South East Plan was published by the government on 6 May 2009. This strategy replaces the Structure Plan for Oxfordshire and for other counties in the region. The South East Plan sets out a vision for the South East to 2026, outlining how we need to respond to challenges facing the region such as housing, the economy, transport and protecting the environment.
The South East Plan replaces the Oxfordshire Structure Plan. However, 3 policies from the Oxfordshire Structure Plan 2016 were ‘saved’ and remain in force. These saved policies are available to download below:
