Information on Oxford's Park & Ride car parks, where they are and how much they cost.
Park and Ride is the easiest way to get into Oxford by car. There are five Park and Ride sites located around Oxford's ring road, with regular bus services to the city centre, and from some car parks, buses also run to the hospitals.
It is easy to use. You simply park your car at a Park and Ride site and use a bus to get to your destination. Parking is provided free at all sites by Oxfordshire County Council, so the only cost will be the bus fare.
Bus tickets can be bought from the bus driver. For Oxford Bus Company services season tickets or a 'key card' can also be bought online or from their travel shop at Debenhams in Oxford city centre. See the pages below for more information.

History
Oxford was home to the first Park & Ride system in the country. It opened in 1973 with space for 250 cars. There are now five car parks on the edge of the city with space for over 5,000 cars.
Usage
During the morning peak, over one in five cars bound for central Oxford use Park & Ride. Annually, Park & Ride is keeping more than a million cars out of central Oxford. On week days the majority of Park & Ride users are travelling to and from work, with shoppers being the main users at weekends.
