Our local transport plan is a document which sets out the vision, objectives and outcomes for transport in Oxfordshire, together with a programme of investment in new transport schemes and maintenance of the existing network for making that vision happen and achieving the objectives and outcomes sought.
Oxfordshire’s first Local Transport Plan (LTP) covered the period between 2001 and 2006, with the second LTP covering 2006- 2011. We are currently starting work on developing a third LTP. This Plan will be a longer term document, covering the period 2011 to 2030 and will be accompanied by a shorter term improvements programme, which will be reviewed and rolled forward annually.
