We believe that people with learning disabilities can lead a full and interesting life. Key points are:
people with learning disabilities find it harder to learn, but they can do so with help from other people
people with learning disabilities usually have them from birth or early childhood
some people have severe learning disabilities and will need a lot of day-to-day support
people with mild or moderate learning disabilities can live with much less help from other people.
We aim to
provide good quality flexible support and services in a variety of settings
enable people to be independent and have choice and control over their lives
offer people support to develop skills and prepare for work opportunities.
