The equipment catalogue
The Help To Live at Home equipment catalogue, which allows you to self-assess and choose equipment for yourself.
This is a catalogue of the equipment which is available to people who are permanent residents of Oxfordshire.
These items of equipment are available for you to self assess and choose for yourself. You can narrow down the products by selecting a room orĀ area of a house.
What sort of equipment is available?
There is equipment to help you in the:
Some items may be used in more than one location and have been listed in all areas.
Each item has the following information:
- a product description,
- when it might be useful to use,
- when it might not be suitable
- safety factors
How to use the catalogue
- look at the catalogue and select items which you feel would help you to continue to live at home more easily.
- complete all sections of the attached self-assessment form
- make sure you have selected the right size if there is a choice.
- download the self assessment form as a Word form (100Kb) which you can save and complete on your pc before printing out, or
- download the self assessment form as a pdf (100Kb) which you can print out and complete by hand.
You can send the combined self assessment form and order form to us by:

How equipment can help you with some common problems
If you have a deteriorating medical condition or think that there are several pieces of equipment that you need, you may want to have an assessment by an occupational therapist (OT).

Do I have to pay for equipment
Some equipment may be provided free under Fair Access to Care Services guidelines, following an assessment of your needs.
